Hello All--
What an honor it is to be able to be the official blogger for Northview's West Lafayette Go Team! We are so excited to be getting closer to our departure date! June 25th will be here before we know it! For those of you who do not know Northview's WL Campus is taking its first ever Go Team Mission trip to Managua, Nicargua! The team consists of Dave and Dawn Choutka, Dave's summer intern Garrett Edwards, Steve, Nicole, and Gavin Roswarski, and Scot, Mary, Meghann, and Maribeth Raub. We are all beyond excited having a team consisting of experienced missionaries, as well as first time trip takers.
Northview Church of Carmel, IN has been involved in missions work in Nicaragua since 1988. Norhview Church of West Lafayette, IN is so excited to be taking the first ever team to Nicaragua. The team has been eagerly preparing for the trip.
The team has met for two Team Building sessions within the past couple weeks. Each session has been used to learn more about individual team members, review God's Word and what He says about mission trips, and to pray for divine appointments and opportunities to be presented to the team as we travel and build strong relationships in Nicaragua. The team has been learning a great deal about the Nicaraguan people and culture to better prepare ourselves to build close relationships on our trip.
Wednesday, June 20th Northview will have a Pack N Prayer service for our team. Join us in supporting our church and team has we prepare for our trip. Bring a friend and come worship and pray with us! Pack N Prayer starts at 6:30pm. We would greatly appreciate the prayers.
Check out our blog regularly for updates, pictures, and news on our entire team and the Nicaraguan people we will be working with. Thank you so much for all the prayers, concerns, and thoughts. :)
God Bless,
Meghann Raub and the Northview WL Go Team
